Can a candidate is eligible to apply for PhD Psychology after BDS?
Graduation with Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (BDS) is a professional degree so can anyone tell me whether they can apply for PhD in Psychology or not after completion of BDS?

You cannot pursue Psychology after BDS. You are not eligible to pursue Masters in Psychology after the completion of your BDS course as the minimum qualification required to pursue Masters in psychology course is that a candidate should have completed his or her Bachelor in science course or its equivalent from a recognised University.

In order to pursue PhD in Psychology, a candidate must have minimum qualification of Master's in Psychology from a recognised University with at least 55% marks.
However, being a BDS degree holder you are not eligible to pursue Master's in Psychology because only those candidates are eligible who have completed B.Sc.course or its equivalent. |
