Yes you are Eligible if and only if you have Mathematics in your Commerce Stream.

Below i am providing you List of Entries through which you can Go for Pilot or Flying officer Wing.

After 12th

NDA i.e National Defense Academy , age should be 16-1/2 to 19 years of Age.

After your B.E Degree (if you choose B.E as your Graduation.)

I) CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam To join Indian Air force then You need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in your Graduation and which you posses.


II) Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women), Both men and women are eligible to apply for short service commission in the flying branch. ” Short Service Commission in Flying branch is for 14 years with no further extension.

yes my friend you can apply for Indian air force.. for that you have to crack entrance exams like-
1.NDA(national defense academy)
2.CDS(combined defense service)
after clearing the entrance exam they will call you for SSB...
so, don't worry you can go for Indian air force after your graduation in commerce.

ofcourse you can apply for indian air force,because you have passed class 12th with maths. but must have command on english & maths.

YES...sure you can apply for Indian Air Force as a commerce student if you have Maths as a subject in your Commerce Programm.


You can join Air Force after 12th or Graduation.


Following are the Exam through which you can join in Indian Air Force:

1. NDA(National Defence Academy) -> For 12th passed candidates

2. AFCAT(Air Force Common Entrance Test.) -> For Graduates

3. CDSE(Combined Defense service Examination) -> For Graduates

::- NDA{National Defence Academy} -::

UPSC{Union Public Service Commission} conducts NDA exam twice a Year as NDA I & NDA II for those students who wants to join Indian Air Force, Army & Navy.

NDA is for Unmarried Male candidates only having Age between 16.5 to 19 years.



Requirements to Eligible for NDA Exam is as follows:
-------------------------------------------------

• You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.
  
• For Air Force & Navy, You should Have passed 12th with Physics & Chemistry as one of the subject.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.
  
• If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.
  
• You must be citizen of India.

AFCAT exam is conducted for the selection of candidates as an officer in Indian Air force for the various branches as follow-

1.Flying Branch

2.Ground Duty Branch

3.Technical Branch



Eligibility criteria for AFCAT:

• You must have complete your Graduation degree in any stream from recognized university with minimum of 60% marks(aggregate in all paper put together).
  
• Your age must be in between 19-23(for Flying branch), 18-28(for Technical branch) & 20-23(for Ground duty post).

AFCAT Selection procedure:

1. AFCAT Written Exam

2. SSB Interview

3.MEDICAL

Eligibility criteria for AFA through CDS exam:

• You should have the Graduation degree in Engineering from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level
  
• Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for CDS Examination.
  
• You Age should be between 19 to 23.
  
• You must be an Indian Citizen

CDS exam notification will release in the month of Oct and June every year & exam will held in the month of Feb and September every year respectively.

There are very few opportunities for a commerce student to get a job in Indian Air Force.
All the possible ones are listed below.
In order to get a job in Air Force there are mainly three entries
At the lowest level there is entry for Intermediate candidates those who have passed 10+2 exams,but in order to apply for Air Force one must have studied Physics and Maths in Intermediate without it it is not possible to apply for Indian Air Force

CDSE is the entry for those who have done Graduation in Physics and Maths ,Graduation in any stream but mandatory to have Physics and maths which is unlikely to have for any commerce student.Again being a commerce you are not eligible for CDSE entry.

For Post Graduation candidates there are slight chances,one can apply after Post Graduation in almost any field are eligible for Air Force,even them who have done their Post Graduation in commerce can apply.
AFCAT is the name of entry through which post graduates students can apply for Indian Air Force.
Air Force Common Admission Test
AFCAT is conducted by Indian Air Force twice in a year.
