Are Girls eligible for Indian Air Force? Eligibility criteria and how to apply for it? Is there any limitation for it? Any jobs for girls in Indian Air Force?

Yes girls can join AIR FORCE on all the post boys and girls are given same equality and have same exam for it.

You can join armed forces after graduation.For that you need to apply for CDS i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university.

For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.and for Indian Naval Academy you need to have a Degree in Engineering.similarly for Air Force Academy you need a Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

you have to be 19 half to 23 half years of age and must have passed graduation.
Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ/Rtg.

UES : university entry scheme is a scheme for graduates to entry into defense,you have to pass entrance ans ssb interview and medical test for it.

Yes, girls are eligible for indian air force,but after the completion of their graduation in PCM group(physics, chemistry, maths) with at least 60%.
girls are not eligible for NDA examination , but they are eligible for CDS(Combined Defense Service Exam) examination,IAF,SSC,IMA, etc etc...
hence you can go for CDS examiantion if you are engineering or equivalent graduate from a recognized college.
the age limit for this exams is 20-24. years.
students of final year of graduation can also appear in this examination.

but girls are not eligible to join Air Force through the NDA exam.

through the CDS exam you can join in the Air Force after graduation.

gals have plenty of reservation in any field.

you have to be fit if you really want to go into navy/airforce. which is good for you.

only few gals dare to join in NAVY/AIRFORCE as most of the parents wont allow their children(daughters) to go into this side.

Flying Branch:
Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks and should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths in class 12th or BE/BTECH Pass with minimum 60% marks

Age- between 19 to 23 years

Minimum Height- 162.5 cms
Minimum Leg Length - 99 cms
Maximum Leg Length - 120 cms
Thigh Length- Max 64 cms
Sitting Height -Min 81.5 cms and Max 96 cms


GROUND DUTY Branch;
Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks
For the Accounts section-B.COM with minimum 60% marks

Age- Between 19 to 23 years

Minimum Height- 157.5 cms

Yes Girls can join Indian Air Force after Graduation. You should have studied physics and maths at 10+2 level for Indian Air Force through CDS exam. If you have not studied physics and maths then you can apply for Ground Duty branch of AFCAT.

You must be an Indian citizen and your only unmarried can apply for it.

Age Limit:

Indian Air Force Academy: 19-23 years

Indian Naval Academy : 19 -22 years

Indian Military Academy : 19 - 24 years

Officers' Training Academy: 19 - 25 years

Through CDS exam(Combined Defense Services exam) girls are eligible.
This exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligibility criteria of Indian Air Force is listed below:-

A candidate should be 10+2 pass with minimum 60% of marks and compulsary subject are physics and Maths for
the Indian Air force.
And you should have also completed graduation with minimum 60% of marks with no backlog.
Candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
Your nationality should be INDIAN.
You should be unmarried.
