To appear for board examination of matriculation in any board of India, candidates need to register for it in ninth standard and select the subjects. Registration for board exam is done in 9th standard.

You can not directly apply for board examination of 10th after 8th standard. You need to register for board exam then only you can appear.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
