The qualification of the candidate and choice for specific branches determine which of the following tests he needs to attend i.e. Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) or Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). The third phase or the last phase is the medical test conducted at AFCME, New Delhi. It can also be conducted at IAM, Bengaluru based on the decision of the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). All India merit list is published based on the test, interview and medical test. Candidates who are found successful are posted in various vacancies at different branches based on the list.
