i am doing my graduation (distance learning education) from swami vivekanand subharti university meerut.so please tell me that i am able for the IPS examination or not?

AS you are interested for IPS exam for this you have to appear Civil Service Exam , The eligibility criteria for this are as follows:

*The candidates should be a graduate in any stream from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
There is a relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Merrut is approved by UGC so any degree from this University whether it is through regular mode or distant mode, the candidate can appear for IPS exam.

To become an IPS(Indian Police Service) officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with good Physical and Mental health.

Apart from this the aspiring candidate for IPS should have minimum physical requirement such as :-

HEIGHT:- General Male-165cm and Female-150cm when SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm.

CHEST:- Male-85cm and Female-79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases.

So with the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you can appear for IPS Civil Service Exam after doing Graduation from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Merrut.

No you do not have min.qualification required to appear in the exam.

I am happy to say that you are eligible for I.P.S exam after passing graduation From swami vivekanand subharti university, meerut.

After graduation you can apply for I.P.S exam.

I.P.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.
