This exam is conducted by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut. The test is conducted for the admission of candidates to MD/MS courses existing at Subharti Medical College. These courses possess duration of three years. This test will be a great opportunity for those who want to pursue medical post graduation course in a reputed institution.

Structure of SVSU PG Medical Entrance Exam

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University PG Medical Entrance Exam consists of 150 MCQs containing one paper. Right answers are awarded four marks while one mark is deducted for wrong answer. Candidate will score no marks if he/she does not attempt a question. If a candidate tends to select options exceeding one that will also cause reduction of one mark. Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be an Indian citizen with MBBS degree obtained from any Indian or foreign institute approved by Medical Council of India.

Candidate undergoing mandatory internship after MBBS or foreign degree approved by Medical Council of India is eligible. But he/she should complete it before admission procedure. Those candidates should present certificate specifying the completion date of their internship from the Principal or Dean of the concerned institution, with the application form.

How to Apply?

Application forms should be collected from the University office. If there is any change in the place for collecting application form, it will be specified on the website of University or in Newspaper. Website is www.subharti.org. Application forms are worth Rs.500/-.If applicants want application forms by post, then DD should be drawn in the name of ‘Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’. It should be payable at Meerut. Additional fee of Rs.50/- should be send along with application form through post. Application form will get together with the Information Brochure. After completing application form, it should be send with an examination fee of Rs.1000/-.Draft of fee should be send with form. The fee should not be sent by cash.

How to fill the Form?

While entering name make sure it is in block letters. Applicant should confirm it is same as in passport or degree certificate. Last name should be written after giving some space followed by first name. Try to avoid mistakes while writing address. Any mistakes made in personal information while writing application form will affect the eligibility for attending the exam by the applicant. A candidate should attach their latest photograph in the application form. It should attach on the place specified in the form. Colour photograh is ideal for this application. The photograph should be old than six months. Self attested photograph is preferred. Left thumb impression by the applicant is needed on the form. Authorities will not accept the form if the form is not filled in properly.
