Subharti Nursing College is a pioneering institution in offering nursing education in the western part of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The institution was established in the year 2000 on the month of January with GNM course and degree course in nursing was introduced by the institution in the year 2008 under Swami Vivekananda Subharthi University. The institute holds the pride of having earned the Excellence Award in the year 2007 in Nursing Education from the TNAI of the state of UP.

Courses offered:

Subharti College offers the following courses with affiliation from the Swami Vivekananda University and with approval from the Nursing Council of India and GNM course alone is approved by UP State Nursing Council:

• Bachelor of Science in Post Basic

• Bachelor of Science (Basic)

• General Nursing & Midwifery

In addition to these courses, the college is also proposing to introduce Master of Science in Nursing.

Eligibility requirement:

For seeking admission to the GNM course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with an aggregate of 40% of marks. For B. Sc Basic course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with an aggregate of not less than 45% of marks in PCBE subjects. On the other hand, admission to B. Sc (Post Basic) course is offered to candidates with 10+2 and GNM course.

Course duration and annual intake capacity:

The General Nursing & Midwifery course extends to a period of three-and-half years and for this course, the intake capacity of Subharti Nursing College is 100 students per year. B. Sc (Basic) Nursing course, which extends to a period of four years is approved with an admission capacity of 40 students per year. For Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course, the admission capacity of Subharti Nursing College is 20 students per year and the course extends to a period of two years.
