Respected sir, my date of birth is 21/07/1996 ,can i appear for nda exam

You are eligible to NDA exam.

NDA (National Defence Academy) the exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. I.e
NDA - l, NDA - ll.

Eligibility criteria :
~ The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india.
~ Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
~ Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.
~ The candidate should be a citizen of india.
~ The candidate must be physically fit.

Selection Procedure :
* written test,
* Interview,
* Medical test.

I'm sorry to say but you are not eligible for NDA if your Age is 16 years because minimum Age required for NDA is 16.5 years. If you attain this limit then you will be eligible for NDA exam.

NDA is National Defence Academy. NDA examination is conducted by UPSC fro recruitment of candidates in following Defence academy services..

Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force


Eligibility criteria for NDA Exam:

If you are willing to join Army wing then you must be 12th passed in any stream from recognized university/board.

If you are willing to join Air force or Navy then you must be 12th passed in science stream(PCM) from recognized university/board.

If you are going to appear in final exam then you can also apply for NDA examination.

Age limit- Your Age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years. You should be unmarried, Male & citizen of India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A Candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 and

1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st janauary

or 1st july of the year of examination



Candidates must not marry until they complete their full traning a candidate

who marries subsequentlyto the date of his application though successful will

not be selected for training


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS


FOR NDA

12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education or equivalent

examination conducted by a state education board



PHYSICAL CRITERIA


The candidate must be in good physical and mentalhealth and free from any

disease which is likely in interfere with the efficent performance of military

duties


there should be no evidence of weal constitution


the minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms for 16-17 years old 42.5 weight is minimum

sorry to say you are not eligible now but you can start your preparation from now.the minimum required age is 16 1/2 years.you must have a good enough courage and knowledge to get it..have a bright career...all the best

Sorry friend you are not applicable for NDA exam because minimum age required for NDA
exam is 16.5 years so,you are not eligible.

This exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

The candidate who completed the +2 standard from a recognized university that candidates are eligible.And age should be 16.5 years to 19 years candidate should physically fit.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
