Can I apply for B.Ed course in DU after passing B.COM? Is M.COM compulsory to do B.Ed from DU?

For doing a B.Ed course your graduation score is enough. But if you want to teach at the college level then you have to complete your masters. After that appearing for the NET is a must. Most schools prefer teachers with M.Com degree for accountancy related subjects.

i can apply for b.ed course in delhi university after completing b.com. kindly suggest as i have been conveyed that it is not possible as du does not offer b.ed after b.com???

yes, you can apply for B.Ed course in DU Provided

1. you have done your B.com from recognized university.

2.you have at least 50% Marks in your B.com.

Is M.Com compulsory in order to do B.Ed from DU

There is no need to do M.com for applying in B.ed in Delhi university.

Entrance examination consist of questions

1. General English Comprehension/General Hindi Comprehension

2. Logical & Analytical Reasoning

3. Educational & General Awareness

4. Teaching-Learning & the School

one of the following subject
Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, English and Hindi

Notification Date - may /june

Fee structure - 10000/- (around)

If you clear the entrance examination you will be called for counselling.
After counselling you can take admission in the one of the various college
offering B.ED course in DELHI UNIVERSITY.
