m doing bsc(IT) in distance mode am i able to prepare the examination of bank P.O.

Dear Friend

If your university from where you have done B.Sc.(IT) is approved by UGC or
Distance Education Council(DEC) of India, your degree is good enough to make you
eligible for bank PO exams.
Also, you are required to fulfill the other eligibility criteria;
At least 60% marks in graduation
(It could vary for some banks but most of the banks require 60%)
Computer literacy(As you are an IT student so you are surely computer literate)
Age Limit is 21 to 30 years for most of the banks.

The notification for PO exams is published in Employment News.
Refer Employment News to get details about nearest bank PO exams.

Off course you can give the exam of Bank PO exam after graduation in distance learning program.
The graduation college is approved by the AICTE or UGC approved.All colleges are approved by the UGC so the college is affiliate to UGC then you are eligible for the exam of Bank po.

see, you will be eligiable to apply for Bank P.O. exams after distance mode B.Sc.(IT) if your university is affilated by the UGC/AICTE approved.

if not then you will not be eligiable for PO exam.

other criteria is

1.minimum 50% marks in graduation.

2.age limit 20-30 years.

if your university is UGC approved then you are eligible for BANK PO exam.

the eligibility criteria for BANK PO exam :-

1) must be completed graduation with 55%.
2)age should be between 23 to 29(age relaxation is there for sc/st/obc category)

Bank PO is one of the bank exam which is conducted by many banks in favor of selecting candidates for the post of probationary officer.

For writing this exam the candidates must satisfy the various eligibility criteria framed by the banks.

Eligibility:

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years.

Candidate must have secured 60% aggregate in his/her graduation which must be done from a recognized university.

Candidate must have known about computers and must have known about MS Office.

If you satisfy the above criteria's then you will have chances of writing the bank PO exam.

i am not attempting IBPS exam. there is some bank notification(Syndicate,Union Bank.............).
my qualification is MCA having 60%
my Degree is BSC computers having 53%
can i attempt Bank Exams like Clerks and PO's

No because kuvempu university was approved only for 3/9/2007 to 3/9/2008 if u have completed your graduation during this period then u are eligible otherwise not.

No Issue with you're educational Qualification, But SBI as well as IBPS PO Entrance Examination required Graduation course from recognized university.

You have Completed you're Graduation course in Distance Mode, It's Issue to apply for Bank PO Entrance Examination.

IBPS Means Institute of Banking Personal Selection and this IBPS Entrance Examination is Organized by Common Written Examination for every year. There are nearly 20 Government Participate in IBPS Entrance Examination .

So, If you're get passed in IBPS Entrance Examination with the IBPS Score card you may apply for any one of the bank as you wish.

In order to appear for the examination an applicant must have cleared Under Graduation course or Master degree course from recognized university which is approved UGC.

Those who are waiting for Graduation course can also eligible to sit in this Entrance Examination.

The Applicant should be reached 20 years and should not reached 28 years at the appearing the Examination.

Possessing for this Entrance Examination Must have some Computer Knowledge which is very Important for this Entrance Examination.

So, you're not applicable for Bank PO Entrance Examination , Because of you're graduation course from distance Mode .

Tips for You ~~~

At you're Completed graduation course from Distance Mode ... So, You're applicable for SBI Clerk Examination based on you're 12th Standard marks .

(Or)

Apply for Master degree course in recognized university and After Completing you're Master degree course you're applicable for Bank PO Entrance Examination.
