Hi sir i have completed graduation but i got only 37% can i able to apply for IPS exam please tell me sir

Yes, you are eligible for IPS, as you have passed graduation. Graduates in any stream can apply for IPS. Percentage of marks obtained is not a criterion. Your age must not be greater than 30 years. Indian citizens are only eligible.

ELIGIBILTY:
Educational Qualifications= > Graduation pass in any Stream


AGE Limit for the UPSC conducted Civil Services exams is

Minimum 21 years for all the candidates
Maximum 30 years for the General Candidates
Maximum 33 years for the OBC Candidates
Maximum 35 years for the SC/ST Candidates


ATTEMPTS- General candidates- 4 times
OBC- 7 times
SC/ST- No such restriction

Because the minimum education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

There is no minimum Percentage marks are required for IPS Examination .

IPS stand for Indian Police Services exam.

This exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.


Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.

Physical Standard:--

Height – Male 165 cm and Female -150 cm

Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.

Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Selection procedure :-

- Preliminary entrance exam

- Main entrance exam

- Interview

- Physical and medical test

ips stands for indian police service, its exam is conducted by upsc,

eligibility for ips :

1. a graduation degree from a recognised college , there is no marks or % requirement for applying for ips exam

some of the other eligibilty criteria are :

a) candidate must be a indian citizen

c)upper age limit for obc candidate is relaxation of 3 year
d)relaxation for sc/st student is 5 years

IPS Stands for Indian Police Services.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be citizen of India.

IPS exam is consist of 3 process - Preliminary Exam . Mains Exam and Personal Interview .

You cam choose One optional subject from below given list because this two papers are mainly conduct for written exam.There is a compulsory subject from IPS exam -

Physical eligibility criteria for IPS exam is given below -

Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm

Chest-

Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm ; Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Eye sight-

6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.

Blood pressure (High) - Age 23 – 123, age 24 – 124, age 25 –122, age 28 – 124, age 30 –125, age 32 – 126, age 34 – 127.

Ear-Good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels.

Nasal-candidate should not stammer while speaking.
