my date of birth is 10 oct 1991 , can i apply for nda ,as i belong to obc

ya ,according to your age you are eligible for NDA for applying it's Eligibility Criteria (age) is 16 1/2 to 19 years.
and other criteria is ---------XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Candidate pursing in 12th class examination can also apply.

in this cast doesn't matter,if you are belong to other backward classes(OBC) then you are eligible.

a student belong to any category can apply.

Basically, your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years for NDA.
NDA exams are conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC), so if you want to know about age relaxation, you can go to the recruitment section on the website of UPSC.

this year last date for application submission is 23 nov and exam will be on 18 april 2010

yes why not as you know very well our government do everything for students education . you can apply go to their sites and register yourself and fill application form and submit .

yes definately u can join nda.....there is no bar to cast and no reservation foe casts.......
u can apply for it after 10+2,after graduation.....
there are two types of commision....short service commision and permanent...
ssc is for 15 yrs which can be extended to 20 yrs.....

selection procedure is as follows....
written exam,ssb interview,medicals.....after u clear these exams a final yearly merit list is made depending on the vacencies and cutoff...

hi ,there are following two criterias to write NDA(II)-2010,which are as follows:

1)16-1/2 to 19 years of age as on 01.01.2010

2)class 12th and also the candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

so as your date of birth is 10 oct 1991,so you are eligible for it,but it might be your last chance.

you must be indian citizen ,belong to any category...there is no caste criteria to join NDA..so go for it.

hii maddusajj 6/12 are also allowed for cds exams well 6/6 is normal criteria so apply the form if you fill this criteria

you have to be pass in 12th exam with PCM. after written exam you have to face SSB interview.

Yes, you belong to any category you can appear for nda exams. So don't hesistate there is no bar for caste any 10+2 passed can appear for NDA exams.

appear in the NDA exam , your age must be between 16 1/2 years - 19

years.but now you have crossed the age limit. I also want to tell you that in

defense services, there is no any type of reservation for any caste.If you

you want to join defense services then after graduation you can appear for

CDS.Note that your age must be between 21 year to 25 year old.
