Well actually if i am 37 years in july 2015 then can i submit application for any psc examination or not? Please guide me in right way.

Most of the PSC jobs have age limit of 21 to 35 years for general category candidates. If you belong to reserved category then you can apply for exams with the help of age relaxation. There is relaxation of 3 years for OBC category, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years relaxation for physically handicapped category candidates. Hence, you can apply if you belong to reserved category and have the desired qualifications.

Age Limitation for PSC:

Common age limit for all candidates is minimum 18 years and upper age limitation is 33 years as on given in notification. Relaxation will be provided as per the norms of the PSC to all reserved category aspirants such as SC, ST & OBC.

The minimum age is for the post, for all candidates is 18 years and upper age limit is vary for the state to state so you should mention the state you belongs to then only you get the exact age for the same. The age Relaxation will be applicable as per the State Govt. norms for the reserve category candidates.

PSC stands for Public Service commission and this examination is conducted by various states for the administration jobs. The Public Service Commission Board organizes the exam during the whole year. The states which conduct PSC examination are as follow:

1. UPPSC
2. TNPSC
3. CGPSC
4. BPSC
5. Jharkhand PSC
6. HPPSC
7. MPPSC
8. Uttrakhand PSC
9. WBPSC
10. OPSC

The age eligibility criteria vary from states to states.

For UPPSC, age should between 21 to 40 years for general candidates.

If you apply for Uttarakhand PSC then your age should between 21 to 42 years for Group A, B and C Posts. Age relaxation is applicable for reserving category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree holder in relevant discipline from recognized university are eligible to apply for this exam.

Exam levels:-

1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview

So, as your age is 37 now, you are not eligible to apply for PSC examination.
