I am mba(fashion desgin) student . Can i apply for Ugc NET .?
If yes , also tell me subject for which i am aligible for?

In order to give the National Eligibility test conducted by the University Grants commission ,you need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1.Academic qualifications:

>>You must be a post graduate in any discipline from any recognized university .If you are in final year of post graduation then also no problem you can apply for the exam.

>>But one thing you must ensure before applying online that minimum % of marks in master's degree should not be less than 55 % for the general and 50% for sc/st.

2.Age limit :

The minimum age limit is 19 years and upper age limit for the different posts are :

>>Junior research fellowship:28 years

>>Lectureship:no upper age limit.

Note:1. There is no bar on no of attempts.

2.This exam is conducted twice every year one in the June and other in the December .Today is the last date to apply for the June 2013 NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test .

UGC conduct this exam twice time in a year in the month June and December .

The Educational Qualification is required for NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks .

Marks relaxation provide for SC/ST category , needed 50% in masters degree.Final year student are also applicable for NET Exam

You have completed MBA degree so you are applicable for UGC NET exam .

Age criteria for NET Exam:-

i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years . Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .

ii) Lectureship : There is no upper age limit .

All papers contain objective question and There will be no negative marking.

Hi,

Yeah after completion of MBA you are eligible for UGC(University Grants Commission) NET exam. This exam conducted twice in a year i.e in the month june and december.


Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be complete Master's graduation from a recognised university.

But in your graduation you must have to score a minimum of 55% marks.

5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age criteria details for Junior Research Fellowship:-

The maximum age limit for this exam is 28 years, and no minimum age limit.

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.


Age limits for Lectureship:-

There is no age limit for this exam, so you can apply this exam at any age.

Can i apply for UGC NET JRF exam ,i m M.Sc in Biosciences,if yes,then tell me the subject for which i am eligible for ?

Anyone with a post graduation degree is eligible for the National Eligibility Test. If you completed Master of Business Administration from a recognized college then you are also eligible for MBA course.

The National Eligibility Test is the exam conducted by the University Grants Commission. It is conducted twice a year. You can either appear in June or in December.

The next National Eligibility Test will be conducted in December. So far notification has not been issued but you should start the prepare for the entrance exam if wish to appear for the December exam.

But before you start preparing, please check the criteria below to ensure that you are eligible for the exam.


NET Eligibility

1. You should be Indian national.

2. With post graduation degree.

3. Final year students are also eligible.

4. Should at least have 55 percent marks in post graduation.

5. SC/ST should have 50 percent marks.

6. Final year students will be required to submit the degree in 2 years timeframe.

7. The subject will be "Management" for you.

8. You should be 19 to 28 years old to apply for JRF.

9. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

10. While 5 years for SC and ST.

11. No upper age limit for lectureship.

The Applicant who have complete Post graduation course are eligible to apply for NET Entrance Examination.

Being a MBA Course candidate you're applicable for NET Entrance Examination. So, No issue with your educational qualification.
