The paper of Introduction to Computers-I is a basic paper for the course. The paper contains 22 questions. Questions are divided into 3 sections; Section A is of 5 one word answers and 5 very short answer type questions whereas Section B is of 7 short notes from which 3 are to be written. Section C is of 5 long answer type questions from which 3 are to be attempted. All questions of each type are of equal marks. The paper is to be solved within the given time.

Questions asked are such as Rom, RAM, Network, types of network, CPV, categories of computers, WWW, short cuts in keyboards, short notes on word document, calculator, fax, software, programmes, block diagram of computers, working with colours, programme manager, MS office, basic functions and their purposes etc.

Total marks and time allotted:

A student can get a maximum of 60 marks in the paper and time for solving the paper is 3 hours only. Section A is of 15 marks, Section B is of 15 marks and Section C is of 30 marks. Each question in this section is of 10 marks each.
