dear friend,
Eminent management schools in India admit students on the basis of XAT entrance exam. The format of the entrance test changes from year to year, which makes it one of the toughest entrance exams to crack in India. Xavier Labour Research Institute has regulated many eligibility norms for the admission seekers.

Eligibility for XAT exam:-

***The candidates need to have passed graduation or its equivalent under 10+2+3 examination pattern from any recognized University or a Deemed University.

***The candidate can also appear in XAT exam during the final year of graduation..

As you have mentioned that you are in final year of your B.Tech course , then you are eligible to appear in XAT exam..
So, go for it..
All the best.

Yes you are eligible to apply for XAT Exam.

Xavier Aptitude Test is an All Indian Entrance Test which is conducted by the Xavier Association of Management Institutes. For pursuing MBA and other management programmes you can give this exam. It is very popular just like CAT or MAT.

With the XAT score you can apply in a host of B-Schools in our country and this exam which is basically a paper based test comprises of both objective type questions and subjective questions.

This year the exam took place in the month of January and the result also came out in the same month. The notifications for this exam was published in the month of August.

To apply for XAT exam you need to be a graduate first. The bachelor's degree can be attained in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

The minimum percentage to acquire at graduation level have not been mentioned and as mentioned earlier even final year candidates can also apply for this examination.

For the exam questions will come from the following sections:-
  • Decision Making
