Can I apply for the post of Delhi Police constable with height of 160 cms.? I am from Manipur and belong to schedule tribe.

Height requirements for the Delhi Police Constable post
1)for the residents of hill areas, that is those from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the state of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of Jammu & Kashmir is 165(for male) and 155(for female).
2) for all candidates belonging to scheduled Tribes is 165(for male) and 155(for famale).
so as per the details given by you and the physical requirements of this post you can apply if you are a female candidate and you cannot if you are male candidate.

Physical measurements required for Delhi Police Head Constable 2019 recruitment, following are the requirements

Height

For male:

• General/OBC/SC: 165 cm
• Others: 160 cm

For female:

• General/OBC/SC: 157 cm
• Others: 152 cm

Since, your height is 160 cm, so you can apply for Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment.

Also, candidate should have completed 10th or 12th standard (in any stream) from recognized Board.

Height requirement for Delhi Police Officer is minimum 170 cm for male which is relaxable by 5 centimetres for residents of Gorkhas, Kashmir Valley, Himachal Pradesh, Leh & Ladakh regions and Gadhwalis living in hilly areas. So , if you are a male candidate you cannot apply for Delhi Police Officer.

For females, minimum height requirement is 157 cms and relaxation upto 3 cms as per the region.

Delhi Police Officer, the minimum height should be 170 cms.

Age 18 to 21 years

It can be relaxed 5cms for the residents of hill areas. For women of general/ST and OBC: The minimum height should be 152cms. For men who are ST candidates: the minimum height should be 160cms. For women who are ST candidates: the minimum height should be 152 cms.

No , you can't become officer / Constable at Dehli Police with 160 cm .
It require minimum 162.5 cm for constable and minimum 165 cm for officer .

Yes, you can apply for the post of Delhi police head constable with a height of 160 cms if you are a ST candidate.

Also the Age limit is= The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years.
••ST candidates are given 5 year age relaxation.
