UGC NET is the minimum eligibility criteria for Assistant professor ship.
Those ho want to teach in colleges as Assistant professor , they have to qualify UGC NET exam .
Higher education institution often have different qualification requirements for lecturers. While some only require masters degree , other requires PhD degree. Some institution also require you to have Postgraduate work experience such as experience as a trainer or instructor. If you are interested in becoming a lecturer in the government sector then you need to pass the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test.
Thus you are eligible for lecturership.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
