Yes you can Join in Police Service after completing 12th standard. You can Join as a Constable after completing 12th standard. You have to appear in Certain examination conducted for the recruitment of the Police Constables.

If you're Interested to Join in Higher Post in Police Service then you have to appear in IPS Examination. In order to become a IPS Officer then you have to appear in Civil Service Entrance Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Applicants should hold Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university and Final year or waiting for bachelor degree candidate may also eligible to apply for IPS Examination.

Candidates must be physically fit according to the standards of the examination.

So, I suggest you to apply for Constable requirement examination conducted by the state which you're belong from.

After 12th you are not eligible to become a Police Officer.

The minimum education is Graduation degree to apply for a Police Officer exam.

After 12th you can only apply for job of a Constable in Police.

If you want to become a Police Officer then you can complete Graduation degree from a recognized University.

Age should be between 20 years to 25 years for apply S.I. post for general category candidates.

Age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

I got 57 percent in 12th and i wanna become SP. I m eligible or not ?

12 can apply only for constable or any other;,
Then one more if we register to constable reqruietment we should pass then there any steps more to do
