Can I change from Electronics and Communication Engineering to Civil Engineering after completing 2nd semesters in a Anna University affiliated autonomous institution?

1. It is possible to change stream after completion of first year of engineering. Engineering students who are not interested in stream of first choice can apply for stream change after first year.

2. But there are certain conditions to be met like no backlogs, minimum percentage required by college for stream change and availability of vacant seats or students in civil engineering who wish to change to other stream.
