Re: Can I do B.Ed after MCA degree?
May I know why do you want to do B.Ed after completing MCA? It would be better if you apply for jobs in IT sector rather than doing B.Ed and become school teacher. If you want to go in teaching line then its better to pursue college lectureship.
You don't need any additional education to apply for the college lectureship. If you have scored 55 percent marks in Master of Computer Applications then you are surely eligible for college lectureship. For that you will have to clear entrance exam called National Eligibility Test. This test is conducted by the University Grants Commission for college lectureship and PhD. Below is the criteria that you should meet to appear for National Eligibility Test. Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. Post graduation degree in any discipline. 3. Must have completed from UGC recognized university. 4. At least 55 percent marks in post graduation. 5. Up to 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST. 6. Final year students can also apply. 7. But they need to submit PG degree within 2 years. 8. Your NET subject would be Computer Science and Applications. 9. There is no restriction of number of attempts. 10. There is no upper age limit if applying for college lectureship. In case you do not have sufficient marks to apply for college lectureship you can pursue B.Ed. The Bachelor of Education is one year course primary taken by candidates interested in becoming school teacher. Eligibility 1. Must have graduation degree in any stream. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks in graduation. 4. OBC need 45 percent marks in graduation. 5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3. |
