Hello everyone, I have completed my 12th from NIOS Board. I am interested to do Commercial Pilot Training. But I don't know that whether I am eligible or not. Can you please let me know about this immediately?

NIOS is also recognized educational board just like other boards. So, you are eligible for applying to Commercial Pilot course.

After passing 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics as primary subjects, you can apply for admission into Commercial Pilot training institute if you have secured at least 50% marks in PCM or PCMB stream.

• Your age must be at least 18 years.
• You must have a perfect eyesight
• You must have a good familiarity with aeronautical machines
• You must have a good fluency in English

If you meet above requirements, then you you will have to pass these stages to get admission into Commercial Pilot training institute.

• Written Exam (contains General Knowledge, Maths, English)
• Interview
• Mental Balance, Situation Handling, Medical Test

Educational qualification for CPL( Commercial Pilot Licence)


Minimum qualification required is 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths.
As you have completed your 12th from NIOS board still you are eligible.

Candidate must have completed the age of 18.

Class II medical is to be done by a DGCA approved Medical examiner.
