ias stands for indian administration service which is one of the toughest exam in india its elligiblity criteria are as follows
(i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university (iii) No. of permissible attempts : Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs (Para 3 (iv) of Notice) since you are a graduate hence you are elligible to appear foe IAS |

Yes you can become a IAS officer after your B.com.
To become a IAS officer you need to have completed your Garduation. IAS officer is one of the service provided by the Civil services conducted by UPSC every year. To apply for IAS exam:- Yes you can become IAS officer . But you need to complete your Graduation to appear for IAS exam. This is include in the services which come under civil services. Civil service exams are conducted by UPSC. This exam is conducted every year to recruite IAS,IPS,IFS officers. The exam is conducted in 2 stages:- 1)Preliminary and 2)Mains. To appear for this exam`s you need to be a graduate from reconized university. General candidates have 4 attempts. OBC candidates have 7 attempts. SC/ST candidates hae no limit. Yes you are eligible for for the IAS examination.
IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service which is conducted b the Union of Public Service Commission(UPSC) to give the eligible candidates a entry in the administration. the post of IAS is the most prestigious post in India. Several of aspirants take the examination every year but very few are able to crack it since it is most toughest exam in India. Eligibility Criteria: 1)the candidate must be a citizen of India; 2)the candidate must have a bachelor degree from any recognized university. the candidates appearing for 3rd year are also eligible for IAS. 3)Age limitation: for general candidate 21-30 years for SC/ST candidate 21-35 years for OBC candidates 21-33 years. for Sc/st age is relaxed by 5 years and for obc by 3 years. Yes you become an IAS officer after B.Com.
To become an IAS Officer, you have to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam which is conducted every year by UPSC. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of discipline from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years. Hi
Yes friend, you can apply for the IAS once you complete your graduation, because the only criteria required for the IAS exam is that you should be a graduate from a recognized Indian university. There is no requirements of the percentage in your graduation to give the IAS exam. Other criteria is Your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and sc/st students respectively. The number of attempts you can appear for the IAS exam are 4 for the general category. The number of attempts are 7 in case of obc category whereas ther is no limitations for the sc/st students. For more details www.upsc.gov.in |
