Re: Can I do ICWA course after MA?
Yes you can apply for the ICWA course, but you must be interested in the same. The course is mainly for those interested in areas like cost accountancy and management accountancy. Since you have completed MA you can apply for the intermediate level directly. You will be eligible for the exam in June. Make sure you apply before 5th December.

Re: Can I do ICWA course after MA?
Actually ICWA is cost accountant professionalism and generally commerce graduate participate in this course but there is no restriction except fine ARTs students to join it.
See there is no restriction that you can't do the ICWA course but it will not benifit you in terms of your carrier growth as you belong to the computer field and ICWA course is for the commerce field student. and if you want to change your stream from computers to commerce and management side then only it could benifiy you. but changing to other stream is not a very good thing as once you change your stream you have to again start all the thing from the very beginning . If you want to stick to the field of computers you could look for courses that could enhance your application programming as well as web programming skill , just go for the courses that would give you an idea of graphics like knowledge of HTML,JDK1.5,JDK1.7,VB.net , and you can also look for courses like diploma in java or diploma in .net from NIIT OR CDAC OR APTECH. once you get these courses done you will have an extra knowledge in your field which the other people might not have, and this will benifit you once you go for interviews in top MNC'S like HEWLETT PACKARD, HONEYWELL, HCL , INFOSIS, WIPRO, TCS, PATNI, IBM, GOOGLE, YAHOO, COGNIZANT,FIDALITY,MICROSOFT . |

Re: Can I do ICWA course after MA?
You can do ICWA. It is Institute of Cost and Works Accountant. It emphasizes on Cost Accounting unlike Chartered Accountant which focuses on general accounting, taxation etc..
And ICWA Understands the role and aspects of cost and financial management to ensure a fine balance between expenditures and available resources. Cost accountants are involved in the costing part of financial transactions. If you are interested to be a specialist in cost management rather than general accounting, cost accounting (ICWA course) would suit you. |
