Can I do MBBS after completion of B.Sc Biotechnology?

Hi, I have completed my B.Sc Biotechnology and scored 75% in my finals. So, now can I do MBBS? Will I get any exemption from 1st year of MBBS on the basis of B.Sc Biotechnology? Will I get direct admission in MBBS or would I have to appear for any entrance also?

Yes, you can pursue MBBS after B.Sc. Biotechnology, but for MBBS , you will have to qualify entrance exam, conducted for the same. In India there are various exams conducted for admission in medical courses

You are not eligible to get direct admission in MBBS course on the basis of B.Sc Biotechnology qualification.

So, you have to appear and qualify in NTA NEET to get admission in MBBS course. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

The minimum age limit is 17 years while no upper age limit.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
