What is the difference between Commerce Management and Business Management?


Hi, could anybody please tell me about the difference Commerce Management and Business Management? Which has more scope and opportunities? Which is going to more helpful in private and public limited companies?

Business and Commerce are word with similar meaning, but they also differ from one another . Commerce focuses on buying and selling part of a business whereas there is much more to a business than just buying and selling. ... Business can be an entity , commerce refers to trade and trade- related activities .

Commerce Management course deals with study of variety of jobs within commerce industry including sales, marketing, purchasing, management, etc.

While Business Management degree focuses on planning, organizing business operations. Moreover, it also includes some fields like finance, accounting, marketing and project management.

Both the courses have good scope and have greater opportunities in commerce sector. However, Business Management covers vast area in comparison to Commerce Management. So, you can go with Business Management course.
