I am an Post graduate in general microbiology but i wanted to become expert in clinical microbiology so now can i do M.Sc in medical microbiology or Ph.d in medical microbiology. so please suggests me the right thing.

Do not pursue M.Sc in any medical
subjects and if you must undertake M.Sc
course, then; pursue higher studies, do a
PhD and never join a medical college as
teaching faculty. No degree is good or bad. It is up to the individual what one can
achieve with it.

You should go for Ph.D in medical microbiology as you have already done post graduation in microbiology no worry that it being a medical or non-medical microbiology.
Microbiology and Biochemistry are the two subjects which is common in both medical and non-medical line. It is same in every aspects, being it in nature of syllabus, course etc.
You should go for Doctorate degree Ph.D in medical microbiology because after completing Ph.D in medical microbiology you can Assistant professor, SR, professor, lecturer in a medical college, and can teach them rather having from non-medical field.
