Re: Can I be eligible for lecturer job after completing MSc Biotechnology?
In order to become lecturer, you need to clear the National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission.
This exam is held twice every year for: 1. Junior Research Fellowship. 2. Lectureship. Minimum academic qualification required to appear for this exam is master's degree in any stream with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Final year candidates of master's degree can also apply for the exam. There is no upper age limit for the Lectureship post. For JRF it is 28 years. Official website of UGC is: www.ugc.ac.in. |
