I have completed BSc computer science in regular and MSC software technology in correspondence in manonmaniam sundaranar university (tirunelveli)with 71.8 % am i eligible for net set exam.can i apply for it?

You have completed M.Sc in software technology in correspondence with 71.8% so you are eligible for NET and SET exam but your degree must be recognized by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET and SET exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET and SET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET/SET Exam but for JRF your age should be below 28 years.

In my graduation I scored 49%in English honours now I am a MA student in English, if I scored 55%in my exam, can I eligible to sit in net exam??? Swarnajit dey

The qualification criteria is -
Masters or equivalent degree with 55% aggregate.
And if you have completed it with Humanities or computer science and application or such fields so you can apply for NET SET examination conducted by UGC.
