sir,i have got 160 marks in aieee then can i got addmission in thapar university? which collage is best for me?plz tell me about fee and seat structure of thapar university.

i dont think man you can get into thapar with this rank. With this score you will get a rank in 25000 to 30,000. But for thapar you need to get in top 10,000 to top 5000. So sorry for that

To get admission in Thapar university, you will need a rankl atleast in 10000 to 12000 and your marks is 160. So your rank is within 30000 and i m not sure that you will get admission where you want. But you score a good marks and you will get admission some others good colleges if you want.

to get into THAPAR UNIVERSITY Only those candidates are eligible, who score at least 20% (15% for SC/ST) aggregate marks in AIEEE-2010.

Hello there. I%u2019m expecting between 172-175 marks in AIEEE and am from Delhi region. What could my national and state rank be with these marks? Would I be able to get into good colleges in Delhi like NSIT or DCE? Or else, what are my chances in PEC, Thapar etc? At this score, which colleges can I consider?

Also I%u2019ve got arnd 3000 rank in SRM, Chennai and hence can easily get into any stream there. Where does it stand in comparision to the above colleges? Could you give me some info about SRM college and its reputation, placements etc? Thanx in advance.

hmm tough question man. But i am really doubtful about this since for Thapar top rankers get admission but with 166 you may fetch a rank in OBC list but i dont think whether it will be sufficient to get into thapar

166 marks + OBC = chances for only punjab state students admission

200marks + OBC= chance of getting admission in Thaper from other state

general category need more marks

as you belongs to the obc and also you get the more than 160 marks in the aieee,
so there is no way to get worried,you must get chances to get in to the thapar.

Sorry but 79 marks cant fetch you a seat in NIT. Better apply for other colleges or you can even try for your state college which takes admission through CET

hai the best way to know about your di=ought is to contact the college it self... u can get more info on seats fee and many more.... all d best......

i did 12th from uae and i got 90%.

U cannot get admission in Thapar univeristy with 160 marks in AIEEE.

No for admission in thapar university you must get around 6000 all india rank and with this marks you won't get this rank.

160 is a very good score. You are having very good chances of getting into thapar university. Also you have other options like nit and iiit. These are best colleges of aieee.

for getting admission in thapar university your rank in aieee should be at most 10000. but since you have got 160 marks so i can say that your rank would be 25000-30000. so you cant take admission in that . hard luck
