sir i am for electrical my gate score 551 and rank is 1780 in 2012 .can i get it bhu .

If you belongs to OBC or SC/ST catageries then you can get chance to get addmission in IT BHU.

Because the last year cutt off for the electrical engineering students in BHU is very high for general candidates .
the last year minimum score of gate for GENERAL students was 527.
for OBC the minimum score was 473.
for SC the minimum score was 375.
for ST the minimum scre was 337.

Since you have a good ranking in GATE you may stand a chance of getting admission in BHU. Do not miss the opportunity of applying in BHU because many times candidates with good marks either underestimate or overestimate & do not apply.
