Can I get Engineering seat through TANCET in Chennai if secured 25.33 marks in GATE?


Hi friends, I have scored 25.33 marks in GATE with CS stream of this year. I want to get seat in any Engineering college in Chennai through TANCET. So, can I get seat through TANCET or not?

TANCET and GATE are two different exams for admission in Master of Technology. You can not use GATE score for admission based on TANCET score. Your score in GATE examination is very less. If you belong to Open or OBC category then there is very less chance of getting admission in good college of M.Tech.

SC/ST candidates with 25.33 marks have some opportunities to take admission in good Master of Technology colleges.

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

GATE is conducted by IITs for admission in Master of Technology colleges in India.

You can not get admission in M.Tech colleges on basis of marks scored in GATE examination. Your marks are very low to make you eligible for admission in M.Tech course .
