myself sagar i clear gate with 41.33 marks in ece and my gate score is 495 with this score will i get mtech seat in anna univesity ? or i have to clear tancet

surely you can get seat in that university.but it will be better if you think about M.TECH from IITS and top NITS,this time PSU are also recruiting through GATE.so there will be a chance..it is my advise that u should prefer colleges by their rankings and brand value.

These are the details about the cut off:
The qualifying score for general category in each paper is (a + s) or 25, whichever is higher, where a and s are the average and standard deviation of marks of all candidates in a particular paper, with all marks less than zero, converted to zero.So,

Yes you can get admission in Anna University.You have scored satisfactory marks.
But you should try to do the M.Tech from the IIT's, NIIT's or IIT's.
Which will be beneficial for you.


The minimum marks need to qualify GATE exam is listed below:-

FOR GENERAL CATEGORY->25
FOR OBC CATEGORY->22.50
FOR SC/ST CATEGORY->16.67
