Can I get government college after scoring 8.67 marks in GATE exam?
heiio sir ! i scored 8.67 marks in gate exam this year. i am from obc catagiry .
can i get any govt. collage on this marks .my branch is IT.

actually 8.67 is not a qualyfying mark in IT this year...
so you wont be able to get in to government college... So, dont give up.. better luck next time..

Dear,
No, You will not get any government engineering college after scoring just 8.67 marks in GATE. A person can only get a government college if he qualifies the exam. Min. Qualifying marks for 2011 GATE is 26 (Electronics and communication branch), them how would you get a government college. I dont think u can get any admission in any goverment college. as there are many student from ur category having marks more than you and not get admission in any govt college. your changes are not good. go for private colleges .
