Can I get a government college after scoring 26.67 marks in GATE?
i got 26.67 marks as gate score......can i get a govt college

Hello,
Although this is not a good percentile but still it is much better than not scoring at all. You have cleared the initial level of GATE and now you have a valid GATE percentile and you are eligible for a government stipend on condition, that you get enrolled for M.tech course in a certain institute. Now government institutes again take examinations to shortlist candidates for studying M.Tech under them(for example IIT Lucknow or IIT Kanpur). So now you will have to apply for M.Tech admission with your GATE score in different colleges. Since you have a GATE score, you do not need to participate in any other examination. So you will be chosen(if at all) on the basis of your GATE score only in that particular college, government or government-aided. So go ahead. |
