my rank in wbjee is 8600 shall i get government college...please tell me the answer

Dear friend,your rank is a decent one but it would be difficult to secure a seat in a govt. college.Usually the seats in govt. colleges in Kolkata end at a very high rank.
In kolkata ,there is no chance but you stand some chance in districts of Haldia and Durgapur.

There is very little chance of getting goverment college,so go for private college or either take one more year and study 10 times harder than now.

I am sorry to not get admissions in top college after getting low rank that is 8600.
If you want you can take admissions in any low ranking private college in India.
In my opinion you should try next year so that you may get top college.

You score very low rank in W.B.J.E.E.
You not get admissions in top engineering college.
You can take admissions in low ranking college in your state..
But if you want you can try next time and score good rank and
after that you can get admissions in top college.

can i get any govt engineering college with mechanical with sc rank 1345.
