I am studying 4th and final year of B.Tech Civil Engineering and I want to work in Defence field. How to get the job in Defence or Air Force? Is there any entrance which I can write?

Candidates in the final year of B.Tech course are eligible for recruitment in defence services after qualifying in CDS examination.

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum passing aggregate.

You can join the defence as an officer in Indian Air Force through CDS or AFCAT entry.

You have to appear and qualify in two stages of examination through both the entry.

So, you can prepare for the entrance examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for selection in the service.

Since, you have completed B.Tech in Civil Engineering, so you are eligible for both the exams.
