I am doing my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at PSG Institution, Coimbatore. Do I have any opportunity of possessing any Lateral entry seat in VIT. Please reply me.

VIT conducts a test every for admissions in b.tech level. You can apply for the exam, if you clear test then counselling will be held and seat be alloted.

Vellore Institute conducts entrance exam VITEEE
for lateral entry admission into 2nd year of engineering after completion of diploma in engineering course.You can enroll directly into 2nd year of mechanical engineering through lateral entry admission after your diploma in mechanical engineering.

You are doing diploma course in Mechanical Engineering so you are eligible for Lateral Entry exam of VIT.

If you have secured above 50% marks in diploma course then you are eligible for Lateral entry seat in VIT.

Your age should be above 18 years.
