sir, i got 139 marks in jee mains and my percentage of intermediate is 91.4%. we belong to obc category.i expect my rank around 50000.can i still get a seat in nit warangal college?if not then please say in which college i can get seat?

NIT has few seats which are filled via IIT score.
NIT Warangal being A Category college, its demand would be more.

NIT warangal is in top 4 NIT of India.
IF we assume 7000 seats in IITs.

Top 4 NIT has 747 general seats.
means 747 comprises of 49.5% ( general seats after 15% SC, 7.5% ST, 27% OBC)

as per 27% obc
number of seats available is 407 ( in all top 4 NIT)

Thus it depends on number of OBC candidates in top 50000.
but it looks difficult for you to get in unless some luck favors you.

anyways, dont loose hope and keep trying.

Generally cut of for general category is around 190 for IIT JEE.
So you have a good chance of getting admission in NIT.
Since NIT Warangal is amongst top 4 NIT and would be preferred after IITs, you may or may not get but as you said you are from OBC, you have good chance.

At 112 Marks in JEE main, you will surely get NIT Warangal as you have good marks in JEE main and you also have advantage of SC category.
You may also get other good NIT.

NO I think you will not get admission in NIT because your marks is low .To get admission in NIT your marks should be above 190 or 200.It has very high cut off.If you are from SC.ST category then you have a chance but for general category i think you will not get.But you will get another good colleges.

Other Backward Class (OBC - NCL) 70

Scheduled Tribe (ST) 45

As you can see the cutoff marks for various category, your marks are well above the mentioned marks.
with 145 marks in IIT mains and 91.6% marks in board. You have very good chance of getting into NIT.

you have very good chances of getting into any good NIT by the virtue of your board marks .i expect your percentile score to be around 94.So,the highest marks scored by a person getting 94 percentile score and taking 0% of your 170 i.e.102.so,adding both the scores would give you a good rank. i expect your rank to be around 20000.and you may get a NIT seat under your home quota .all the best

It seems very dificult for you to get in NIT Wnrghala because it is the top most colage and you have score of 50000. Although you fall in category of OBC that means you can expect you category ranking falls about 10000(by previous experiance). But that too is not enough. But dont loose hoop and try for same.
you may also try other NITs or colages like VJTI, COEP.

As far as admission to NIT is concerned, 40% weightage is given to your board marks, and with such a good marks you will get full 40% .

Now try to score maximum in your IIT JEE Mains to score high and get the best NIT.
Though there is no fix marks for NIT Warangal, but its amongst the top four NIT.
Score as high as possible to maximize your chance.
