Can i give all ias exam papers in bengali language? Please tell me if its possible to do so

The Civil services examination's question papers will be available in English and Hindi
languages only.

One can answer all the question papers, (except the language papers)
in any one of the languages included in the Eighth Schedule of the
Indian Constitution or in English.

These languages are;
Assamese
Bengali
Bodo
Dogri
Gujarati
Hindi
Kannada
Kashmiri
Konkani
Maithili
Malayalam
Manipuri
Marathi
Nepali
Oriya
Punjabi
Sanskrit

Sindhi

If technical terms are included in the answer then English language can be used for
those technical terms. But, misuse of this facility is liable to deduction of marks.

Yes you can give the exam in bengali language but except the language papers.

I am a computer engineer, passed out my btech in 2011.i have decided to take CSE. .now i have some questions...(1)my short listed optionals are pub adm/anthropology/psychology/Bengali...as i am from computer background all of those are new for me..i was good in bengaly ,...so..should i take it? or..which two?
(2)i am from west bengal..here is no such good CSE coaching institutes..as i am a working professional in kolkata..i cant shift to delhi..so...should i avail any correspondence course? if yes..then in which subjects?

All the exams under UPSC are taken in English or Hindi,so if you are very weak in English try to overcome it by reading newspapers.

No, you can not give exams in bengali language. According to UPSC, Civil services examination's question papers will be held in English and Hindi only. Apart from one language exam, you are not allowed to take exam in your mother tongue language.

No you can't because there is no option more than english or hindi.paper comes in only two languages english and hindi an you have to answer in either language.

No its not possible, You can either take up the exam in English/ Hindi. The civil service exam board already discussed the topic of allowing members to write all the papers by choosing their language of interest. But it was no successful and they decided to follow the same rules.

Only for Language paper, you can choose Bengali.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted in only two language i.e in Hindi and English. So, you can give the examination in the Bengali language.

IAS is stand for Indian Administrative Service. The IAS examination is come under civil services examination which is conducted by the UPSC once in every year. To appear in the IAS entrance examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for IAS Examination.
--> Pass graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize University. Final year graduation candidates can also appear in this examination.
--> The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for reservation category.

These are the basic eligibility criteria for the IAS examination. If you satisfy the above mention eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the IAS examination. So, if you completed the graduation degree in any discipline then don't worry you are eligible to apply for the IAS entrance examination.
