Yes, you can appear for the LEET exam after completing diploma in mechanical engineering.

LEET stands for the Lateral Entry Entrance test.

This entrance exam is conducted by the different state board of engineering. It gives opportunity to candidates of diploma to get admitted to second year of engineering.

You must have minimum of 60% marks in diploma to be eligible for this exam. Depending upon your rank, you will get stream and college under the university.
