Yes, You are eligible to apply for UGC NET Examination !!

NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and This examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year - June and December. The June NET Examination was Already completed and if you have missed the June examination then please apply for the december NET Examination.

>> The Notification of December NET Examination was Going to be declared soon in the Month of September 2011 and the examination was Going to be Held on 24/Dec/2011.

So, If you have completed your Post Graduation Degree course in Geography then you are eligible to apply for NET Examination.

Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online By visit the UGC Website.

The examination fees of NET Examination was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI and then you can fill the application form Online. So please wait for the Notification and then apply for NET Examination.

dear friend,

After M.A (GEOGRAPHY) , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

December session exams date is not announced yet.

but it will be published very soon in the website.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

I am postgraduate in Economics.Am I eligible to fill the form of NET December,2012?

Yes, you are post graduate, so you are eligible for this exam.
National Educational Testing (NET) exam is being conducted by University Grants Commision.This exam is conducted to determine the eligibity of lecturership.

UGC conducts the NET exam twice in a year, once in the month of june and second time in the month of December. Notification for these exams are released in the month of march for june month NET exam and in the month of September for December month NET exam.

If you are interested then apply for the exam before the last date of submitting the application. The application would be made available online on the UGC-NET website.

Eligibility-

1.You should have post graduation degree. It could be in any stream but from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission.
2. Your percentage in PG course should be at least 55%.
3. Reserve category students are eligible for 5 percent relaxation as made mandatory by central government.
4. Final year students of master course may also apply.
7. There is no age limit for Lectureship.
8. You can appear for NET Exam as many times as you like.
