i am a commerce graduate girl can i give TET Exam test

No, you are not eligible to apply for this examination.

TET i.e Teacher Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted by Government of Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board. This year exam notification not yet released. Last year examination was completed 18 August 2013.

Eligibility for TET ::

Applicant who have passed Intermediate (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized Teacher Training Institute and seeking admission as Secondary Grade Teacher for Classes I to V. can write the paper - I Examination.

Applicant who have passed Degree course in B.A/B.Sc/B.Litt with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography or equivalent qualification from a recognized University and those who have completed B.Ed degree from a recognized University may also eligible and seeking admission as Secondary Grade Teacher for Classes VI to VIII. can write the paper - I Examination.

Applicant who are studying in the final year of D.E.Ed/B.Ed at the time of examination may also eligible to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test.

Paper - I -->> Class I to V ( Second Grade Teachers)
Paper - II -->> Class VI to VIII ( Graduate Teachers)

Paper I Pattern ::

-->> Child Development and pedogogy - 30 Marks
-->> Language - I in Telugu/Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/Urdu - 30 Marks
-->> English Language - 30 Marks
-->> Mathematics - 30 Marks
-->> Environment Studies - 30 Marks

Paper II Pattern ::

-->> Child Development and pedogogy - 30 Marks
-->> Language - I in Telugu/Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/Urdu - 30 Marks
-->> English Language - 30 Marks
-->> Mathematics and Science Teacher or Social Science Teacher or Any other Teacher - 30 Marks
