Can I go for MCA after completing BSc computer science degree


Can I go for MCA after completing my B.Sc comp. Sci degree ? If yes then what is the procedure or eligibility criteria for it ?

Yes, B.Sc Computer science graduates can apply for MCA. Graduation with mathematics as a subject either in 12th or graduation is basic qualification required. Delhi University, Anna University, etc conducts entrance test for selection process. AIMCET is an entrance test conducted at national level. You need to qualify NIMCET to join NIT.

Hello friend
Yes after completion of bsc in computer science you are eligible to apply for MCA program. Master of computer application you can do through regular mode or distance mode. The admission in MCA take place through entrance examination at different level of institutions. In your MCA program you will learn advanced computer as you studied in your BSc program.
You can also do MSc in computer science which is a 2 real degree program.
