Respected Sir, I am studying in class 12th with Commerce stream, My dream is to join the CBI but as I am a Commerce stream student so I want to know can I join CBI after completing class 12th with Commerce stream? Which exam do I have to appear for joining CBI? Please answer as soon as possible.

No, you cannot join Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after completion of your intermediate. For joining CBI you have to complete your graduation first. After completion of your graduation you have to give Combined Graduation Level Exam (CGLE) which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Only after qualifying in this exam you can join CBI. No, 12th standard candidates are not eligible for CBI entrance exam. CBI entrance exam is conducted by SSC through CGL exam.

Minimum qualification required to apply for CBI examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution. SSC CGL exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years.

Upper age relaxation for OBC is up to 3 years.
For SC/ ST , it is up to 5 years.
For PWD it is up to 10 years
