You can appear for the Indian Navy in two ways : 1)N.D.A 2)C.D.S

Naval Wings of N.D.A

National Defence Academy(N.D.A) :-

The applicants must have a complete the 12th from any recognized board or equivalent examination and the candidate must have a studied Physics and Mathematics in 12th level examination and those who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for this examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years and Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination.



Indian Navy

Combined Defence Academy(C.D.S) :-

The applicants should have a bachelor's degree in engineering from any recognized university or equivalent examination and those in the final year of examination can also apply for this examination.

The candidate age should between 19 years to 23 years and Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination.

Female candidates are not eligible for this examination.

You can't join Indian Navy being a very short in age. You first of all concentrate on your Studies because this is your very crucial year if you get a very good score then chances of getting admission in different school will get higher.

SO keep concentrate on your studies first. for Navy you will be eligible after 12th only. Their Details are

After 12th NDA is a Mode through which you can apply for Indian Navy. But Educational Qualification for Indian Navy is at-least 50% in 12th with Maths as a Compulsory Subjects. But as far as UPSC Concern they have not specified the Minimum Marks in 12th.

Just you apply for it. if rejected then it seems your Marks doesn't match with what they have decided.

Indian Navy Conducts Senior Selection Recruitment Exam Every year for Sailors Entry. There is No such Marks Criteria specified by Indian Navy for SSR Entry so you can apply for this.

Basically there are Four Exams for Recruitment as a Sailor in Indian Army they are

Artificer Apprentice,Senior Secondary Recruit, Direct Entry for Diploma Holders & MR/NMRs and Musicians.
This is Only for those Male candidates who has completed their 10+2 Study.

Syllabus Consists of Science, Mathematics, English and General Awareness.Which based on 12th class Topics and its very Easy to Crack it.

you can’t apply Indian army without completing 10+2 exam.

Your age has already reached 20 years and the eligibility criteria says that you need to be between 16.5 - 19 years.

2.) The minimum educational qualification required for the Indian Army is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60 % marks.

No,now you are not eligible for army with 10th qualification,to enter you should complete 12th standard.After completing 12th standard,you can apply for NDA exam.If you qualify in that exam,then you will be working in Indian Army.

Sir I am Rizul i am doing diploma in electronics and communication engineering after 10th can i join INDIAN ARMY but i have done only 10th and i am 16 years old

For joining Indian Army you have to pass twelfth after you can give NDA and then by clearing that you have to clear SSB and get selected in Army

and after graduation you can apply for CDS exam
if you are a NCC candidate having B certificate then you can direct apply for SSB.

You cannot apply for the exam but there is a problem as you fall short of age and education qualification.

After finishing 10th there is no way you can get into Indian Army.There will be a possibility for you to join in Indian Army only after if you finish +2.

The options which you will get are NDA ,TEC.

NDA is National Defence Academy and is is held twice in a year.

Age limit for NDA:

• For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
• For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
• For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering

Age Limits :

no. right now you can't join in the Indian Army after 10th.

you have to do XII, then you can appear in the NDA exam.

through the NDA exam you can join Indian Army after 12th.

Its good to know that you want to serve the nation by joining the Indian army.
as you are 16 year,,so after 6 months you can apply for NDA (nation defense academy),conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) every years for two times.
through NDA exam, one can apply for the three branches of the Indian army-
1.NAVAL BRANCH
2.AIR FORCE WING
3.MILITARY BRANCH.

For apply in NDA exam, you must have 12th degree from a recognized college.
you must have subjects physic,maths in 12th, and you have scored at least 60% in 12th examination.
The age limit for this exam is 16.5-19.

also you must have Indian nationality.
you must possess marital status unmarried.

How To Join Indian Armed Forces

In order to join the Indian Navy,Army or Air Force..you need to clear the NDA (National Defense Academy) exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice every year

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects in 12th if you want to join the Indian Navy or Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Apart from these..you should have good physical health and a perfect eyesight..

General Knowledge
English
Basic Maths

You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination..

For that you have to complete your 12th at least...

After completion of 12th you can appear in NDA exam..
Through the exam you can join in Indian Army...

2.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years..
3.The candidate must be a citizen of India..

yes you can join indian army after 10th but in general duty catagory. and for that you have to be atleast 17.5 years of age.

as you have just now completed you can get into army through NDA which is the only possible way .
The requirement for joining army through NDA are
1. The aspirant must have completed 10+2 exam
2. Aspirant with age above 16.5 are eligible.Aspirant with age greater than 19 are not eligible
3. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for appearing for the exam.
The exam is conducted twice a year. The exam is based on the CBSE board syllabus.

one should passed 12th
age from 17 to 25 years relaxation is given to the reserved categories
and all these depends on the posts also for which post you are applying

you can enter in it through CDS exam and have to clear it for getting into it

As you are in 10th and just 16 years old, you cannot join Indian Army or Navy by just completing 10th class as according to the eligibility criteria to join Indian army or Navy only
~ those candidates who are currently doing 10 2 with science stream can apply and those who have cleared 10 2 can join Indian Army, Navy or Air force. And also the candidates appearing for the exam
~ must have age in between 16 &1/2 to 19 years subsequent to the year of the exam.
After completing your 10 2, you will fulfill the age requirements for Army or Navy.

For this you contact to Army Recruitment Board(R.R.B) in you district.
They will tell you the eligibility and date of recruitment..

the educational qualification for Indian Army is 12th standard. So, you are not eligible since you have just passed 10th standard. The age limit is 18-21 years.

Ans:no it is impossible to join in navy because, your age limit is minimum at 18 yrs.then only you are eligibleful that job.

No after 10 th there are no examination to join the army you have to pass 12 then you can apply for NDA and join army.
