sir,i have passed my b.com this year.i am eager to join the indian army..
i don't have any NCC certificate..is it possible for me to join the indian army??and if yes,then kindly send me the exam dates..

yes, you can join indian army without NCC certificate.if a candidate has NCC certificate than he will get bonus point.so don't worry.

ncc certificate is not always neccessary for joining army.

you have to appear for
CDS exam conducted by upsc every year for joining army,navyand airforce.

It depends on the cadre to which yo apply.
An officer cadre selection doesn't require an NCC certificate.It wud be advantageous if yo are an athlete and an optimistic person, so that you can react to any critical situation given to you at the time of interview.

Whereas a soldier cadre requires an NCC certificate(incase) as the other competetents are gonna be from almost all the states.

defenetly you can join to army with out that but if you have that you may get some preference thats all.

i myself belong to defence background and i can assure u that if u do a little hardwork then ur ncc certificate will surely let u get into defence forces.

genrally there r 2 types of entry :-
u can apply for army on the basis of ur graduation certificate
or directly by ur ncc certificate

in both the cases u will be called for ssb-interview..directly
it takes place throught the year in selected places around the country.

a NCC certificate would certainely boosted your chance of getting selected in indian army ,but its absence has not finished your chance of getting into army.

go for an exam called as CDSE,it is conducted twice a year by UPSC,the forms are available at post offices.

However,since you are a system engineer,you can join army through-

UES: university entry scheme, notification for it is released in employment news, firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance, then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test.

SSC: short service commission, for 10 years which is extendable up to 14 years and later on permanent commission depending upon performance, notification for it is released in employment news, firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance, then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test.

yes you can join the indian army without having NCC certificate........for that you have to appear for the NDA exam conducted twice in a year or if you have scored more than 70% in PCM in 12th then you can apply for the technical entry............

sorry friend you cant join the indian army with 52% in 12th as it require minimum 60% in 12th and you are not fulfilling that requirement......

NCC certificate is not mandatory in the armed forced but it can give plus and bonus points if you have the same. But still as far as i know B.Com is not eligible to join the army. whether if it is a B.Com drop out or discontinued, it can be eligible to join the army.

you can join indian army by giving NDA or UPSC exam. These do not require ncc certificate. So don,t worry about that. The forms will be available in the market in the month of march.

No, you can not join NDA with your percentage as the minimum percentage required for NDA is 60%.

Yes, if you have 'C' cerrtificate, then definitely it is a huge advantage.

-> 32 seats are reserved per course in the IMA for cadets who have passed NCC `C` certificate examination. NCC cadets having 50% aggregate marks in graduation with minimum `B` grade in `C` certificate examination are eligible for short service commission( NCC special entry scheme) without qualifying CDS written examination. They will face direct SSB interview.

-> NCC trained cadets are given preference in recruitment of armed forces.

-> NCC cadets are attached with army units every year so that they get acquainted with the army life.


There are a lot of advantages you have with an NCC certificate.

If you want to join Indian Army than you don't need any NCC Certificate. If u have the capability and clears all necessary conditions of army, than nobody will dare to harm or prod your resolution.
