Can I opt for Science stream in Intermediate to get a job in banking sector in future?
Hi, I am about to completed my 10th. I want to work in banking sector. So, which stream should I opt in 11th - Intermediate? Can I go for Science stream? And, which courses would be beneficial for me at graduate level?

The common eligiblility to appear for banking entrance examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.
The age limit varies with examination. There is no limitation on the discipline of bachelor degree to appear for the examination. So you can pursue the course as according to your interest. |

If you wish to join Banking sector, then you must choose Commerce stream in 11th and 12th standard. After 12th standard, you need to complete graduation in Commerce field like BBA, B.Com, etc. Then, you will be eligible for banking exams like IBPS.
However, if you wish to choose science stream in 11th and 12th stream, then also its ok to opt. After 12th, you can complete graduation course in any science field like B.Sc., B.Tech/B.E., MBBS, etc. Then, you can appear for IBPS exam. |
