Re: Is it possible to join IAS after B.Com?
Hi
Sure you can apply for the IAS after doing graduation in B.COM !! Basically IAS is Indian Administrative Services and it is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in order to select candidates for the various posts which have vacancies. This is one of the toughest examinations in India, and its because the no. of applicants are much more than the number of seats available. The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the IAS is : A person must be graduate in any stream with a minimum 50% aggregate in it from a recognized university or college by the UGC or AICTE. So as you are B.Com graduate, so you can definitely apply for the IAS once you are finished with your final year. Click Here to visit the official website of UPSC. Hope this helps Regards #RJ# |

Re: Is it possible to join IAS after B.Com?
To become an IAS officer, it is not necessary to belong to Arts stream. Even a commerce and science student can also appear for this exam. The person applying for IAS should be a graduate from a recognised institution. And there is no minimum marks required to score in graduation.
I recommend you www.competitiveexambook.com this site is best source of Competitive Exam book.. |
